Medha does volunteering consulting for local Indian communities. She served as Vice President of a non-profit organization AMM which organizes numerous international and local initiatives for humanitarian purposes.
She also founded a Marathi Language School, Marathi Shala, in Austin and served as their first principal. The school trains over 100 students to make them eligible for earning up to two foreign language credits.
