Derek has a proven commitment to advancing the field. He has previously served multiple years on AIA Austin’s Home Tour Committee, contributing to the promotion of exceptional residential design.
Derek also sits on the board of the ACE Mentor Program of Austin as the Director of Program.
Over multiple years, he has served ACE in various roles, mentoring high school students, and supporting their growth in Architecture, Construction, and Engineering. He earned his architecture license in April last year, marking a significant professional achievement.
